Obituary of Margaret Louise Miller

Margaret L. Miller Webster: Margaret (Marge) Miller died December 12, one month short of her 95-year milestone. A graduate of Monroe High School and a retiree of the former Security Trust bank (Bank of America), Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 11, 1920, and lived her entire life in Rochester and the surrounding area. She was a devoted mother, neighbor and friend to many, and through her 80s lived an active social and family life. Her husband of 59 years, Chester F. Miller, died in 2002. Predeceased by her eldest daughter Susan, Mrs. Miller is survived by three other daughters, Cheri Fordham (James); Deborah Parnell (Steve); Judith Meyer (Steve); a son, Douglas Miller (Anne); and 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her for the joy and great good humor she brought to their lives. She was, in four simple words, one of a kind. Friends and family may call from 4-6 PM Monday at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., in Webster, where a short Funeral Service will follow immediately. Mrs. Miller will be interred at White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, at 11 AM Tuesday. All who knew and loved her are invited to attend. Donations in her name to the Al Sigl Community of Agencies and/or the Upstate New York Chapter of the ALS Association will be gratefully accepted.
